Jayla J Jackson, the founder and CEO of Black Love and Light Enterprise, has an extensive background in entrepreneurship and personal development. She holds several certificates, including a Certificate of Achievement Award from the ProsperUS Entrepreneur Training Program, a Certificate of Completion from the Higher Learning Institute, and the Michigan Women Forward Bridging the Digital Divide Certificate. She also studied under top traders through the organization Trading in Color, receiving a Certificate of Completion along with additional awards such as the MVP Award, Community Award, and Initiative Learning Award.

Jayla has vast managerial experience, having worked with companies like Fireball, Wayne State University, Chevrolet (General Motors), Mosaic (State Farm), Walmart, Toyota, the Tokyo Summer Olympics, and various local businesses and festivals such as the Arts, Beats, and Eats Festival, Texas State Fair, Woodward Dream Cruise, and the Detroit Auto Show. She even served as a Regional Talent Acquisition Manager for Exact Sports. These companies entrusted her to help grow their brands, and she is eager to do the same for her clients. 

In addition to her managerial expertise, Jayla has led numerous online seminars and training sessions, teaching topics from chemistry to middle schoolers to budgeting and credit repair for the elderly, all the way to trading tips for millennials. She also runs a YouTube channel and podcast, offering mental health tips, affirmations, and financial solutions.

Her business journey began with her passion for helping Black women with kinky hair grow their hair, inspired by her own natural hair journey. However, she quickly discovered that her clients were seeking more than just hair care advice—they were looking for guidance in their finances, personal lives, and overall wellness. Realizing that Black women bond over more than just hair, Jayla expanded her focus to address the mind, body, and soul, integrating her chemistry degree and experience in cosmetic chemistry. She learned the importance of protecting herself as a business owner, discovering tax benefits through Legal Shield, and she became an associate entrepreneur and business owner. Today, Jayla teaches the mental, financial, and self-care practices necessary for a successful and prosperous life, all while encouraging others to embrace their authentic selves with confidence—starting with their crown.
